~WELCOME~ Do come in & make yourself at home. ~

~The Fog Is Lifting~

Goode morning everyone. I hope you are all well and enjoying a lovely start to the month of June.  Ours, as you can imagine, has been a difficult one with my Dad's passing the last week in May.  No matter how much you are expecting it or how much you think you've prepared yourself....You are never ready!!!  Today tho, I am feeling like the fog is beginning to lift a bit; my regular routine finding it's way back to me.  Coffee on the front porch, a lovely walk with Oliver, a little weeding in the flower beds, tidying the house, Yoga, a shower (maybe a little baking) and then a day of filling orders, answering emails (perhaps a blog post) and time with my hoop & needle.  Today is actually the first day this routine has presented itself to me without me having to consciously think about making it happen.  I have high hopes it will continue.  I've chicken marinating, for grilled chicken and eggs boiling, for potato salad.  Orders have been packed & gathered by the mailman and now I am about to settle myself in front of the fan with my hoop & needle and season 3 of Turn to accompany me.

In case you are wondering.....The photo shown is one of the things I have been working on.  This particular on is for a September workshop!!!!  More details in just a few days.

Until next time ~ wishing you joy & happiness.  Doreen

  • Glad you’re feeling better.
It’s so so difficult to lose our parents. I’m sure your dad is pleased your routine is back and you’re stitching again. It does bring us a sense of peace to keep our hands busy.

  • Hello Randi and thank you ever so much for stopping by today and for your kind comment. I’m so sorry if I’ve caused confusion, but I am afraid that I do not have an online class coming in June. So sorry about that. Doreen
