~Autumn And Winter Workshops~

Come enjoy the beauty of Vermont & a visit to our cozy little brown house as we partake in the wonderful olde art of Punch Needle Embroidery.
Beginners To Advanced...All Are WELCOME.

Early Autumn brings gorgeous colors here in Vermont.  Sheep & cows raise their voices and  turkey's wander as they forage for acorns.  The crisp, sunny days fill with the sounds of honking geese, as they head south for the winter, and the scent of apples fills the air.

Late Autumn brings blustery winds,  wood smoke wafting from our chimneys & cozy days by the fire.  Join us as we enjoy this most wonderful of Seasons.

On this lovely Autumn day, while the crisp, cold wind blows & smoke wafts from the chimney without, we shall be cozy within, settled by the wood fire with the smell of home baked goods wafting from the kitchen.   Join us, as we create a lovely Heritage turkey keepsake box.  Our punched piece is perfect for Autumn with it's main character being my favorite animal...the wonderful and graceful Turkey.  We will be using rich Valdani Autumn colors in browns, creams, oranges and green. We will create this punched piece using a bit of dimensional punching & using one and two strands of floss and our small and medium needle tips.  I will also give you direction on painting the oval paper mache box to which to place your punched piece on top of.  Beginner to advanced ~ all are welcome for this class.

All project materials are included in the cost of the class (including the oval paper mache box, paint, etc.).
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO CLASS........ your own hoop or frame (14" in size will work wonderfully) and a Cameo Punch Needle with the small & medium needle tips.  You can purchase these, should you need to, here in my little corner shop, on the day of the workshop.

~When Snowflakes Fall~
$125.00
Sweet November. I absolutely LOVE November & December!!   The time of year when snowflakes start to fall...Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday, is quickly approaching and Christmas is just around the corner.  A time for coziness, sipping cocoa by a warm wood fire and stitching.  To me this design just speaks of November and all the wonderfulness it holds.

During this workshop we will create this lovely winter door pocket that can be filled with green and displayed proudly in your home.  Finished size measures approx. 8" x 4".  We will create this sweet piece using Valdani Perle Cotton and Moire' & Valdani Wool Threads.  We will do a bit of dimensional punching, making our tree and scarf in varying heights and punch our background with two strands of floss rather than just one.  As you can see, we will also cover my circle background technique.  You will back your piece with a bit of gorgeous red wool and hang it with a strip of the same red wool.
Your kit includes everything you will need to complete the project.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO CLASS........ your own hoop or frame (14" in size will work wonderfully) and a Cameo Punch Needle with the small & medium needle tips.
You can purchase these, should you need to, here in my little corner shop, on the day of the workshop.
