OH MY GOODNESS, I JUST LOVEEE THESE LITTLE BUMBLES!!!
I have always wanted to learn how to needle-felt and thanks to the lovely Erin of Grey Fox felting I finally was able to make it click!! Her wool roving is the BEST, in my humble opinion, and what I used to create these sweet little bumble bee's. Each little bee is made from wool roving, have hand dyed, silk organza wings and wire, wrapped legs and antennae's. Their eyes are made of glass! Oh, they are just so cute!!
Each one measures approx. 1" (some are a little bigger, some a little smaller).
Each one is lovingly, and painstakingly (these little creatures are a challenge) created by me, one sweet little bumble at a time. I do have three made right now, which are the three shown in the photo, and I have three more ready to finish but I ran out of time. :)
