This piece is done using a mixture of punch needle embroidery and traditional embroidery. Sir Reginal has been created on lovely natural Stitchers linen and I have used Week's Dye Works floss in lovely shades of grey, orange & green to punch the elements as well as add depth and dimension to the piece through embroidery.
I have framed Sir Reginald Hare in a lovely mahogany stained wooden hoop and backed the hoop with cotton batting and finished it with a blanket stitch around a lovely green, hand-dyed piece of wool. Finished piece measure 7" x 7"
