Medium Strawberry Keepsake Boxes

I love these sweet little boxes (as I am sure you can tell by my offerings this month :).  They are perfect for holding balls of floss, spices, or any other little keepsake you can think of.  I have two of these available.  Each 3" round paper-mache box has been covered with an aged and sanded, green, cream, and black reproduction fabric.  The box has been painted and sanded inside and then I've added a nice layer of my homemade scented wax.  Atop the box sits a plump velvet strawberry (made with Blackberry Primitives hand-dyed velvet) filled with wool roving and glass seed beads. I've finished each berry with hand-dyed wool leaves.
