~Spun Cotton Snow Folke Ornaments~
Each one of my antique-inspired spun cotton snowmen & women (snowfolke) is entirely handmade, (by me of course), in the traditional manner of antique spun cotton toys. I then lightly paint the surface, add hand-sculpted paper clay noses and black glass eyes...a bit of shading, and a painted mouth (I can finally do those now), and then add a decorative fabric coated twirly wire hanger and top them off with a bit of real German glass glitter. Each one has been sprayed lightly with a matt sealer for protection against the elements as the years go by. Each one will come to you carefully packaged for safekeeping when Winter departs. I have added my initials (small so as not to distract from the piece) on the back of each one.
