A folky turkey atop a grassy knoll gazing at a lovely indigo flower.
This design was one of the very first designs I ever made. It began as a punch needle design/pattern and is still one of my most popular patterns to date. I then made it into a wool applique pattern, which is quite popular as well and now, I offer it as a finished piece.
Made from lovely hand-dyed Blackberry Primitives wool in warm creams, browns, orange, blue and green. Stuffed with wool roving and a good bit of lavendar, it smells just wonderful and has a good weight to it. You'll find my initial on the back :).
