~Olde New England Ewes~
Finished piece measures 11" x 6"
I just love how this piece turned out. I've punched two graceful Ewe's, done in rich Valdani Perle cotton in creamy Ivory, coppery gold, brick red & a rich green background. I've then attached the punched piece onto a hand dyed wool and linen pillow that I've stuffed with wool batting and then done a bit of decorative stitching around the edges. I just LOVE the stem stitch...I'm not sure why, as it's just a simple stitch, but I just love it.
